How to Identify the Main Causes of Acne

Among numerous factors responsible for acne, some are of significant importance. Raised pimples, whiteheads and blackheads are mainly caused by these factors. These all are mostly because of excessive production of sebum, obstruction of the skin orifices, action of usual skin microorganisms mostly bacteria, and inflammation of the skin. Sebaceous glands are among other causes of acne.

In retained sebum oil Propionobacterium acnes produce and replicate. Sebum offers growth and replication medium to acne bacteria. These bacteria also draw white blood cells from the blood. Inflammation because of acne bacteria at the skin often appears as pimples, rashes or zits. Skin cells can be damaged by the inflammation. Thickening of the skin and scars formation can be because of collagen formation. On the other hand, collagen creation will be enhanced, which then causes these scars turn into more congealed. Various hormones, diet, evolutionary biology, deficiency of the vitamins and stress are among principal causes of acne.

Foods that are full of saturated fats can really become a strong cause of having acne. These foodstuffs mostly comprise of burgers from fast food restaurants, pizzas, meats having rich fats, French fries, and some other junk meals. Such foods can make acne problem more sever. Acne can also be produced by using some vegetable oils. Several foods for example pasta sauces, chips, and beans are mostly cooked in vegetable oils. Vegetable oils cause acne by inhibiting anti-inflammatory hormone.

Sugar is another acne causing food. Foods for example sugary sodas, cakes, cookies, chocolates, are rich in sugar content. Various sugary foods cause acne by raising insulin levels in the blood. Always try to avoid sugary foods if you want to reduce the likelihood of exacerbating your acne and take steps to eat a healthy, well balanced meals.

Common treatment for acne consists of daily application of a pore cleanser. People with severly acne prone skin should use a dermatologist product in place of their normal shampoo, conditioner and shave cream.

The most important first step in treating acne is to carefully watch your diet. By carefully choosing the type of foods you eat, you can help prevent the conditions which promote acne.
